Ad Description

PRICE REDUCED! Was $275.00

NOW Only $240.00

You don't see these NICKEL PLATED cast iron trains very often, and this one is STUNNING! Locomotive, tender, and 3 coaches. Erie Railroad / Poncelot. Stretches for 33 inches and weighs about 6 lbs. No rust, but some aging in spots, and underneath. Only real issue are the missing pieces that connect the locomotive's big wheels together so they turn in unison. (I know these parts have a proper name, but I'm not a train person) Because of these missing pieces I'm calling it a C7 and not a C8.

In my Kention catalog reprint, this should be Kenton train No. 733 1/2, when means it should have the loco, tender, 2 coaches and an observation car. This one has 3 coaches but not an observation car. I'm not sure what that means. In any event, I think it's beautiful and would look great on any mantel.
