When you registered at MyOldToy.com, you agreed to the following as part of the Terms and Conditions of the site. As toy collectors or dealers, these simple rules are for our collective good, and the long term enjoyment of our hobby.

The First Rule - No Junk, Please!
MyOldToy.com is for serious and aspiring collectors of antique and vintage toys. We encourage sellers to list quality toys in good to excellent condition. As such, we strongly discourage reproductions, new toys, or boxes of junk you found in the garage. Ultimately, the content of this site is strictly at the discretion of MyOldToy.com, and MyOldToy.com is the sole judge of the appropriateness of any advertised item. Therefore, we also reserve the right to cancel any listing, at any time, for any reason.

Second Rule - Full Disclosure
We expect our sellers to advertise their items honestly and openly, and to fully disclose -- to the best of their knowledge -- any imperfections, flaws, reproduction parts, missing parts, repaints or any other condition issues that might have a bearing on a buyer's willingness to purchase that item. The seller is solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing, as well as satisfying the expectations of their buyer, and is expected to conduct their business on this site in a professional and cooperative fashion. At the time same, buyers are expected to meet the obligations of any agreement they make with any seller, and do so in a timely manner.

Third Rule - Be Nice
Toy collecting is fun. The people who do it are fun. So let's all play nice together, treat each other fairly, and make friends in the process. But if things go wrong, remember...at no time is MyOldToy.com responsible or liable for the consummation of any purchase agreement, the condition or value of any advertised item, the payment of any monies owed or agreed, the shipping or delivery of any item, refunds, returns, or any other aspect of any agreement between buyer and seller. Sorry, we're just the marketplace, not the toy police.

MyOldToy.com will, from time to time if necessary, try to resolve disputes if the parties cannot do so themselves, but we are under no obligation to do so. We expect buyers and sellers to enter into transactions openly and honestly, and to resolve disputes to the satisfaction of both. MyOldToy.com does, however, reserve the right to suspend any buyer or seller from using this site if you can't get along well with others.

How Many Photos Can I Use?
The program allows you to upload as many as 8 photos. There is no extra charge for photos, so use them! Shoot pictures of your toys from all sides to give potential buyers a good look. You can also add brief descriptions with each photo as you upload them, using the description box in the Image Upload section for each picture. You'll see what we mean when you go through the Place An Ad process and get to the Upload Images page.

Why can't I upload my images?
Most digital cameras take photos that are HUGE!! Most cameras also transfer their images to your computer in JPEG format (denoted by the three letters, JPG). If you are having trouble uploading pictures, you might need to RESIZE your photos. The maximum size you can upload on this site is 1,000 pixels wide and 1,000 pixels tall, or about 2 megabytes. But don't worry...it really is not that hard to resize your pictures if they're too large. All you need is a FREE software program that is user friendly. Go grab this program. It is free and very easy to use.

Why Doesn't My Featured Ad Show up on Page 1?
Featured Ads are rotated in and out of the Home Page position, as well as through the browsing pages of each category. There is a set limit how many featured ads appear in either place, so if you don't see your featured ad this time, chances are the next visitor who visits that page will.
